In most cases it's not possible to remove the wash impeller without breaking it in pieces. If you really want to do it you have to have the new impeller kit (#11, #19 or #24 on the
pump & motor break down diagram).
If the pump is not leaking and it moves freely it does not need any service.
One of the most common cause for the lower spray arm not to spin properly is insufficient amount of water inside the dishwasher. Check the water shut off valve under the sink to see if it's open all the way.
If this not an issue then the water inlet valve (#16 on the
tub assembly break down diagram) has to be replaced.
