[Melizerd]

We have had our trash compactor only a couple of months. Yesterday morning it just didn't compact or run at all. There is still power to it because the air filter still runs and I can hear that going.

I can't see anything stuck or caught anywhere. Is there something I'm missing in checking it myself? I can't seem to tell if the door locks now or not and if it's not completely locking then I know it won't work.

There's no noise, no click, nothing when you turn the knob to the on position.

Please help me figure out how to troubleshoot before I end up on hold forever with a repair company.
