One or both of the hinges could be bad.
There is a way you can check this.
First put the door in the broil position and then lift
and remove the oven door.
Then carefully with a pair of pliers grab the hinge
and move it forward towards the range body.
In most ranges the hinge should actually be able to
rest up against the body (or frame) of the range itself.
Do this with both hinges and see if they rest up against
the range. If one of them doesn’t then it will need replaced.
Take care if you do this because there is a
good deal of spring tension in these hinges. Make sure
you use something to grab on to them such as a pair of pliers.
Here are what they look like.
