Dishwasher became very much louder during washing then finally quit pumping water to the spray arms. Fills and drains OK but does not pump up. Just hums! This seems to be a frequent failure for Whirlpools.
Whirlpool offered me 15% rebate if I purchase another WHirlpool family of dishwashers. Is the pump motor the likely problem here? IS this is cost effective replacement for a 4 year old unit?
