Here is a wiring diagram
https://www.servicematters.com/docs/...119P168-60.pdf

I put my ear close to listen and that's when i realized the cook top won't turn off....all burners stayt at the very least warm one of them stays hot.
Turn the power off and find where it arced since you saw sparks there should be visual evidence.
With all stove top elements on you may have mis-wired it or something is now shorted to ground or one of the power sides.
This is very weird because every cook top element has it's own control and yet all of them are being bypassed.
Was your hook up 3 wire of 4 wire, you have to make changes at the terminal strip if you change this.

Can this cook top be fixed and if it can will it cost an arm and leg.
Cannot say what it will cost until you figure out what is wrong with it.
The bad news is that often an electrical arc will take out the control board.

If you do not have a meter you will probably need one.
The first thing you have to check is the wiring at the terminal strip.
Next you have to check what the power is.
L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral should both be 120 volts
Be careful 240 volts is lethal.
